Praga Północ district also lies on the right bank of Vistula River. In the South, it borders Praga Południe district, in the East - Targówek district and in the West its neighbors are districts of Żoliborz and ¦ródmie¶cie.
Culture and recreation
In Praga Północ district, there are 2 cultural centers, 2 cinemas, a theatre, 5 district clubs, 6 sport clubs, 5 non-public libraries for children and youth and "Scientific Reading Room".
In Praga Północ district, the District Sport and Recreation Centre operates. Four galleries are also located there. One of the most beautiful and interesting places in Praga Północ is the Zoological Garden, occupying the area of 40 hectares and exhibiting approximately 300 plants or animal species.
