 Location
Targówek district is situated on the right bank of Vistula River. In the South, it borders Praga Południe and Rembertów districts, in the East - Praga Północ district and in the North - Bialoleka district. It occupies the surface of 2,436 hectares, i.e. 5% of total Warsaw's surface.
Culture and recreation
In Targówek district, there are 3 nurseries, 21 public kindergartens, 19 primary schools, 5 grammar-schools, 2 secondary schools, 4 occupational schools. Non-public, communities' and religious schools are also located here. There is a 170-metre ski slope and several bicycle paths. The inhabitants of this district can also take advantage of the sport centre.
Investments
Two parks within Targówek district (Bródnowski Park and Kołowa Park) cover the area of 29 hectares. Green municipal areas spread over the surface of 13 hectares.
